tone down the steroid use which i know u wont do or hop on accutane which u probably should do if it gets worse. for now its pretty minimal so u could probably use some acnee creams(dont ask cause idk any) and maybe fix ur gut health. might help a bit as well

Higher testosterone just means more material for 5-alpha-reductase to convert into DHT. Typically, as testosterone levels increase, so do DHT levels. That's an issue because DHT notoriously up regulates sebum production, and sebum is almost always the primary cause for acne.

Finasteride, dutasteride, topical DHT blockers or natural 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors, that or just a retinoid.

Fin will do fuck all for your skin however. You need to be inhibiting the type 1 isoenzyme for the benefits of no upreg of sebaceous glands and elastin not getting eviscerated. So get on Dut.

5ARi blocks the 5AR enzyme that converts test to DHT. On 2.5mg Dut your DHT will be nuked and since Test can’t convert to DHT you will have higher Test and also E levels

Accutane is a type of retinoid, an oral one. And yeah, it will probably solve your issue and resolve sebum production, but that's more like treating the symptom and not the underlying condition, regardless, DHT has other issues when it comes to the skin and your longevity. As far I'm aware these are the issues and benefits of DHT:

Benefits:
- Dick size (up to the age of 16-18)
- Libido
- Increased muscle mass

Issues:
- Sebum up regulation
- Enlarged prostate
- Prostate cancer
- Reduced collagen in the skin (can be reverted)
- Reduced elastin in the skin (permanent)
- Body hair (it depends on what you think of it)

DHT does have other tissue-specific functions, but they're largely irrelevant and testosterone does the job just fine.
