cyproheptadine is a first generation anti-histamine that agonizes seretonin and as a result stimulates appetite
this stimulation of appetite leads to increased IGF-1 along with being known to enhance growth rate of underdeveloped children when theyre put on it
not only does it help with development through increased appetite, due to the fact that it is an anti histamine that functions similar to diphenhydramine/benadryl, it creates sedativeness that can allow u to add it onto a sleep stack like:
- 8mg Cyproheptadine
- Magnesium Glycinate
- Melatonin
- Valerian Root
- Ashwagandha
cyproheptadine improves sleep latency very well and has little to no side effects the next day
personal anecdote: i've been taking 8mg nightly for over 3 months (im 14), went from 91 to 127lbs and 5'6 to 5'8 in that 3 month period while never getting any side effects from it)
i am still taking cyproheptadine nightly aswell
