No one will blame you for getting braces for crooked teeth. All things being equal, everyone looks better with straight teeth. On the other hand, if you have a recessed jaw and want jaw surgery, you will be discouraged from getting it and told to be more confident in yourself.

Society accepts that bad teeth can negatively affect your dating life, but they are loathe to acknowledge that a man's jawline and cheekbones, or lack thereof, can negatively affect his dating life.
