You guys should seriously stop abusing the term “pedophile.” It loses its meaning if it hasn’t already when you apply them to situations they don’t apply to in the first place. Being sexually attracted to prepubescent children makes someone a pedophile. And before you say anything about me, I’m asexual.

If someone is starved of intimacy at a certain age they remain stuck at that point. So if you were 13 and bullied for your looks and all the girls refused to look at you and you have a bad experience, your mind wont really move on from craving that 13 year old girl until you process that. For many here that is their life. And many of them dont see another way to grow past it because their life hasnt changed since then, they are still ostracised for the same thongs they were when they first started wanting to find love. Keep in mind too it’s more about the approval and validation of peers and not sex itself, though that is the manifestation. This is also part of why I support holding kids back, btw, is they have this happen but its resolved before its a serious issue

if it is left too long it can become something that is a deeper issue, and as well like I said in my post it isnt always resolved by living out that stage of life since they are still experiencing the same trauma as they did back then without properly looking inward. this is the leading consensus on why people like young teen girls. I mean young properly, like 13. It might be normal to find them attractive (from a later age, 13 is a bit early to say the are developed) but for most people they recognise that you don't want to date them until they have the capability to think. but saying you have one dude here who is (possibly larping as) a pred doesnt mean that what I am saying is wrong, there are people who just are like that but for majority of people this is the issue.

He’s not a predator, he wants to bang them because of finding them attractive but doesn’t because it’s illegal. Lots of other people find teens attractive too but won’t go for it for legal reasons.

I really hope english isnt your first language. but alright. its not about whether you have a gf per se, if you feel she isnt attracted to you are isnt attractive enough to validate you it wont help. and if people around him treated him bad he still will be mentally regressed to that point which can cause you to find teen girls (who were your age) attractive.

OP used the word pedophile but he was talking about attraction to teens, which isn’t pedophilia. Also the explanation you gave was about teens. Amnesia dated as a teen but is still attracted to teens (including under 16), which according to OP and you is pedophilia.
