Why is milk so expensive in Sweden?

1.5 liters of milk costs around 2 dollars in Sweden. Do I have to spend 4 dollars on milk alone everyday? That's 120 dollars a month just to have 3 liters of milk everyday.

There is no minimum salary declared by law in Sweden. However, general data shows that minimum salaries in the country hover around the 18,500 SEK / month (which is around 1,650 Euros) gross. The NET values (take home) are around 1,500 Euros per month.

Pasteurized at 2 bucks is the same in france, since the jews can only store the milk for a month/ 2 weeks before it goes bad instead of literal years with uht, the loss is bigger

Highest quality and freshness milk is mostly from there. Milk is produced the best when cold.

I don't think it's expensive. I was buying 6 liters for 1.2 dollars per liter.
 
I suspect our milk is generally of better quality than that of e.g. the US, especially the regular pasteurized kind.

I can't say for sure. Alcohol is also wayyy more expensive here and that's obviously the same kind as they sell everywhere else.
