Why is my memory so bad?

So I'm playing pairs

Ur suppose to pair the 2 matching cards with each other, but I just can't seem to remember what I flipped or the opponent flipped, or where the cards are located, especially if it's fast paced, but other people I play against they do it quickly and they click the matching cards with precision.

Why the fuck is my memory so bad, meanwhile I have a sister and her memory is way better, in car rides she would be able to tell directions because of her memory, and where certain places are, I could never do this, why?
