Why is short/medium ramus considered a bad failo?

If you have a normal ramus it doesn't matter but if you can tell that it's short then its pretty bad

a lot of people gets the "short ramus it's so over" label even when they don't even have one btw, some people seems to don't understand what a short ramus is
