Why is suicide deemed as a bad thing?

I don’t get why others should care if I’m dead or advice against it. If I mention something about it to others, I get told to seek help.

I don’t think that the reason I’m being kept alive is because “it’s a phase and life can be precious”. I feel like I’m being discouraged from a shortcut to peace, because the economy needs miserable dudes like me to be worker rats so we’d contribute to society and help the “elite” have a “good time”.

But then again at the end of the day everyone dies and I don’t get why some1 would gaf enough to do that.

I know that if I really wanted to, I woulda killed myself alr and wouldn’t be making bs threads but atp I’m desperate and trying anything to find some meaning in my life.

I’m not religious, although could you explain to me why’s it seen that way? Cause from what I understand it’s just a social construct that mass amount of people agree on but there’s no answer as to why that is.

It takes some balls to jump from a building, to overdose or to shot yourself.
But the only thing you are doing when you do that is scream "I lose, I fail and I give up"
+ it's a permanent solution to problems that could be solved.
Most people regret it half way.

When human brain thinks of death as expected it can’t understand it and kinda makes it go crazy. And no matter if the living matter can comprehend the concept of death or can’t, fear of death is a heritance for every living known as surviving instincts ( there are few exceptions where under circumstances that are worse than death some animals automatically shuts down). As in social relations, humans are social creatures so loss of a member = weaker group. Life does not have any meaning no matter how long you think or try to do something you’ll eventually come back to nihilism, the only way cope is making your own meaning like chasing a dream, creating a family… etc. or absurdism, only meaning that we can partially refer to being ‘real meaning of life’ is the biological reason and that is to reproduce, but even that is not an exact meaning. So suicide=bad is just your body is programmed to keep you alive.

Its selfish to the people around you who do care and you leave that burden on them and also a waste of life. Your have lots of years left and you never know what could happen so to waste that on a temporary problem is honestly the worst thing you can do. Your gunna miss out on amazing things if you cut your life short
