A protein and related proteins (DNA) for all the factors related to height (gh receptors e.g.) are passed on to BOTH males and females, and height is realized in both males and females.

On the other hand the clitoris, (which originates in the fetus where, in a male, the penis develops,) is not important for sexual selection. Thus penis genes are selected sexually in only 50% of the populace (males). In contrast height is selected in 100%, thus divorcing the 2 traits.
