Why people on here think that college is a scam?

One of thing that is the most on here is how college is a scam and you should not waste your time there. But why?

Of the top 400 wealthiest individuals 84% of them have a degree. Even the billionaires who don't have a degree (Mark Zuckemberg for example) still went to college and they succeeded because of the networking they did there.

We can agree that there are worthless degree that makes going to college not worth it but again if you are smart and know what you need to do (get a good degree + do networking) going to college is a smart decision.

Most people don’t want to be rich by 50/60 after wagelsaving for 30 years nowadays.

School leads to that path hence why it gets so much hate even though there’s outliers who become billionaires before 30 but those guys are high IQ hence why they are Stanford and Harvard grads

I disagree. I think that every STEM degree is fine.

Achieving a degree is easy, knowing how to use what you have learnt is a whole other thing. It's your choice to waste your degree by wagecucking for 30+ years. Smart people try to further their education and open their own business and make money

Nigga, if you are gonna open your own business instead of wagecucking, that makes your degree even more worthless.

Everything taught in college is open knowledge, you can find it in google and youtube, just teach yourself.

Stem is also only means engineering, science (physics, chem, bio) and math majors dont make much wagecucking.

You can learn programming yourself, and even get hired without a degree.

And engineering is only worth it if you live in a highly industrialized country with demand for engineers, countries like Turkey or India is filled with engineering graduates who flip burgers or become policemens because they couldnt find job.
