Yes, the people living in Central Asia are closest to the original Turkic peoples. So people such as Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Turkmens, et cetera.

Only uzbeks and Turkmens. Kazakhs and kirgiz Mixed heavily with mongolians. The closest people to the original turkic people would be bashkir and nogais. A Lot of bashkirs pass as 100% european and have blonde hair btw. Seljuks obviously Mixed with anatolians too but Not as much as armenians would Like you to think. They are still closer to medieval turkics than azeris, kumyks, Kazakhs, yakuts and kirgiz
