Why reading books MATTERS

People are actually reading in 2026 instead of listening to audiobooks at 1.2–1.5x speed or using AI to summarize books into more digestible format

(where they also have the luxury of questioning the accuracy of the information, checking critics' opinions, or identifying the true or false narratives the book is pushing)

Also niggas wate time and prime time life away reading books instead of getting bitches and fuck the shit out of them while their dick still works.. 😭

Books, much like reading news or articles that present random information, are just slop and a coping mechanism, just like watching short form content on social media. In other words, if the information isn't actively useful to the brain for real life, it simply deletes that information sooner or later

Spending an unusually large amount of time reading books is just a trait on the autism spectru, much like people who spend hours every day playing video games, scrolling through TikTok or whatever, watching movies or anime, and so on..

..instead of specifically looking for information needed in real life (like how to cook, fix shit around the house, or find a new position to fuck your bitch) or seeking out a video format of that information, like on YouTube, where you can actually visualize the information that you get in a real life context

You say AI summaries let you question accuracy. They do not. They let you skip the source and trust a machine’s compression of it.

You can’t question a narrative you never actually read. A summary is someone else’s filter. Reading the book is how you check the filter. Otherwise you’re just outsourcing your brain to a chatbot and calling it critical thinking.

You say only real-life useful info matters. Fine. Books teach cooking, fixing, money, health, psychology, communication, and yes, sex. But they also teach you how to think. That’s real-life useful. A man who can’t sit with a difficult idea will get played by anyone who can. That’s not autism. That’s being awake.

You say reading is a waste of prime time that could be spent chasing bitches. Skill issue incel; you can read and fuck.

And if your entire life is just chasing bodies, you’re not free my incel brother, you’re a slave to your dick. Dignity isn’t in how many you catch. It’s in whether you own your mind.

The real cope is thinking anything that doesn’t immediately get you laid or fix a pipe is worthless. Unfortunately many incels will learn this the hard way
But if you want to improve your speech, the way you express your thoughts, refine your thinking; i.e as I always say- Read Books Everyday

"Train your soul by reading man-made books, describing man-made social constructs, inauthentic history, flat psychology, whatever makes you feel fulfilled in life. Because if nothing else fulfills the subhuman void that you have in your brain, i know inefficient reading would."

Reading books is the most egregious cope I've ever heard and it's only a halo for already attractive and intelligent men. Reading a bunch of stuff on paper that's already available to easily access online won't make you any smarter than someone that just browses the internet.

It just makes things even more difficult momentarily, and it's a completely inefficient method to "become smarter"

Literally what I'm saying lmao, don't understand why people are supporting this and larping in the comments. Hardly anyone in here reads and for GOOD reason, and even if they did end up reading it's probably a testament to their IQ

People cling onto anything to act like they're literate
Your inability to grasp that things are more than the sum of their parts doesn't make you smart.

You say it won’t make you smarter than someone who browses the internet. Maybe not automatically. But the guy who reads 20 books on a subject will run circles around the guy who watched 50 TikToks about it. Depth beats fragments. Every time.

You call it a halo for attractive and intelligent men. If you had retrospective you'd realize this is a self-own.

If only attractive men benefit from reading, what does that say about you? Reading isn’t a halo. It’s a tool. Anyone can pick it up. Most won’t. That’s on them.

I encourage you to stop the projection, although it is true that hardly anyone reads. Because it’s hard. It requires focus. It’s not instant. That’s exactly why it’s valuable. If it was easy, it wouldn’t separate you from the herd

Books don’t care about your face. They only ask for your mind. That’s the one thing you actually own.

Watching Tiktoks and Instagram reels mog reading for knowledge obtaining
Otherwise you can just do this:forcedsmile:
