It could make you more recessed if you already are, and some people who get braces have narrow palates in the first place, so that's just a recipe for ugliness.

Idk exactly but I think anything above 35mm should be fine, and anything above 45mm is considered very wide/Chad tier.

Had some removable braces for a week, and I felt like my lower jaw was getting pulled down and inside. If you are having braces to pull teeth inwards, it can really fuck you up IMO
