Why some recessed chins don't look bad?

Let's use some examples such as Jordan Barret and this random guy. As you can see Barret has quite a recessed chin in terms of definition meaning it is behind the lips.

But it does not look quite bad as this guy even though performing the lip test this guys chin is probably more closer to his lips than Barrets is to his:

Why? Because Barrets chin is recessed due to protruding fish lips and crazy forward maxilla growth not a recessed jaw like this guys or a flat maxilla. And Barrets chin is also quite prominent besides it being less closer to the bottom lip than the bottom guy.

Stop coping, his chin isn't recessed, it's in line with the Frankfurt plane.

Any chinless wonder can tilt his head up or down to look like he has a chin or make his chin disappear, you need to take the angle out of the equation, which the Frankfurt plane does.

If it is way over the line, it will look botched usually, if it is behind, then it would count as recessed.

If your chin is in line or over the Frankfurt plane, and it still looks recessed, then you have bigger problems than a shitty chin.
