If you think about it, imagine some random country invades yours and takes your people as hostages.
In our timeline it would be like China invading Europe.
Now think about, why should China let males alive in this scenario? They basically have zero reason to do that.
It would be way smarter to kill all males.
So letting males alive would be an huge mercy and deserves gratitude.
Now, let's come to the woman. The woman can be useful as sex slaves and breeding machines. But even then, the children could become whites and stuff. It's like admitting that your race is inferior.
