I keep seeing “teenage love pill” shit all over these forums and tiktok, and it’s usually made by people who haven’t had any experience with a long term relationship. This thread will simply be going through some of my experiences and why teenage love is not something you “need” to have in your high school days.
(First post btw very sloppy)
Context
(cope alert

I ended my first long term relationship of 2 years about 5 months ago. Our relationship was amazing, we almost never argued, she always helped tremendously in any situation I would go through, and we would always have people in our school tell us how perfect we seemed. Towards the end of our relationship things started getting tiring, and I overlooked many red flags. I wasn't allowed to talk to any other girls, go to parties, and I was looked down upon when I participated in substance use (weed, alc, ect).
Since this was my first serious relationship, all of this seemed perfectly healthy to me, I was devoted to her and I truly viewed her as a life long partner.
These factors that I would subconsciously ignore quickly caught up to me, as all of my friends were out having fun without me. I felt left out.
Ever since I broke things off I’ve been having some of the most fun I have ever had, and I finally feel like I can experience things and live my life. I have fucked multiple bad bitches, reunited with my boys that I wouldn't get to see much, and ascended. Shits amazing.
(Ok, enough rant
)
setting up for failure
A large part of why teenage love is overrated is that it puts you in an extremely bad position for finding and maintaining a realistic relationship. These “perfect”
Relationships you see in high school are nothing like dating in the real world, and you’re only setting yourself up for failure when trying to talk to girls in the future.
After high school, finding an innocent virgin bitch is practically impossible, so lower your expectations
When you isolate yourself for so long in a relationship with a foid that doesn't know shit about relationships, it diminishes your communication skills with other potential partners, and can simply drive girls to completely skip the slightest idea of wanting to fuck you. You will be so hyper fixated on finding a girl that gives you that same feeling that you wont even realise it’s the least realistic scenario ever.
High school is the most hormonally driven time period in both boys and girls, and all anyone wants to do is fuck.
“Oh but thats not true! I want to find my girlfriend in high school and marry her!”
Quit ur cope iqlet, only 2% of married couples start dating each other in high school.
If you make the same mistake I did and waste half your high school career with the same bitch, you will simply confuse comfort with compatibility. The honeymoon phase ends QUICK, which
adds unnecessary pressure, and you will seek these unrealistic factors in a partner that you wont find anywhere else.
I believe I am extremely lucky to have moved on from my ex so quickly, seeming that I could feel our relationship coming to an end, so this might not apply to many people. But once you wake up from this foid induced coma, quality of life will skyrocket.
In total, theres a million other reasons that I'm too lazy to type out on my phone, but you are better off being in multiple rocky relationships that will help you find a truly compatible partner and develop your standards than slaving away to a single foid your whole life.
