think about it: evolution has made it so that humans are pretty adaptable to their environment. most studies show the surpising flexibility and durability of the human body and neuroplasticity of the brain. yes genes still control stuff but they are not everything, environmental influences are extremely important - it's more like quasi genetic determinism.
instead of individuals being points in an n-dimnesional genetic space, we have humans being n-spheres with a radius of possibility in an n-dimensional genetic space.
