HEMA is the only sport I'm interested on. I think there was some HEMA community in korea. There are one school in Tokyo that teach german swordmanship(but no italian fiore one).
Japanese would kick ass on Kendo though, every middle/highschool has a Kendo club and it has been going on since 17th century unlike HEMA which is rediscovering methods before early modern warfare became a thing.
