why women don’t want kids

this is what the girl i’m talking to told me about having kids. i respect the decision to not have kids for whatever reason but i don’t think a lot of women consider the fact there’s families with like 8 kids living off 40k a year and women who give birth to like 10 kids in their life. obviously that’s anecdotal but most of the time i feel like when girls don’t want kids it’s because of some anecdote they’ve heard about how a woman’s body was ruined or life was ruined having a kid when the reality is that it’s not like that for 95% of couples.

i also don’t see what they think is going to happen later in their life. to me it seems like going into life just knowing it’s a dead end. like ignoring all of the social aspects of marriage and having children a human’s biological purpose is to reproduce i feel like if i didn’t then id leave life thinking i failed or had no impact
