As we all know a big 'problem' in sports is woman not having equal pay. many woman in sports have been asking and asking for equal pay by their leagues/team but thats all fallen on death ears. as a hard core radical feminist myself I decided to look into why women may likely NEVER receive the equal pay they want so badly. This is not supposed to be misogynistic or tearing anyone down if you foids who r lurking take it as so idrc JFL.
All the money in sports come from us. the regular people and sponsors. we give these leagues and teams the money they use for stuff like equipment and to pay their staff and players. The reason big sports/leagues like Mens soccer, The NBA, The NFL, Mens UFC, Male Boxing, MLB, Mens lacrosse and much more get more pay than the female counterparts is because at average they bring in more viewers.
Our example will be the NBA and WNBA because those are the biggest people asking for equal pay in sports. The NBA brings in a fair more amount of viewers than the WNBA.
This chart explains it well why WNBA and the NBA have such a big payment gap. the NBA racks in 14.3 Billion dollars a year while the WNBA only brings in 300 million. that is a 49.33 times difference. it'll take the WNBA 9.5 years to make the same amount the NBA makes in a year. they have low viewership what else do they have? Their players are shit. If anyone has seen a WNBA game or clips they'd know its absolutely horrible.
Literally nobody taps in to watch the average WNBA game. this list is in the thousands with the WNBA peaking in at 113k for a whole year worth of games while the NBA peaked at 2.51 million for a years worth of games.
The WNBA will never be like men in short because they just don't get traction. they don't get traction because their players aren't as exciting as the male players. and they probably won't be until the WNBA allows 6'9 black trans dudes into league.

TDLR; Womens athlete aren't as interesting or don't play as well as the men (In alot of cases). This makes their viewership low causing them to not get money from viewers. This also causes no one to sponsor them.
