Why not just take oral minixodill it seems to be better in every way especially if your still young
 
you can be a king or a street sweeper but everyone dances with the norwood reaper

they do different things, minoxidil alone wont do shit because it dont stop you from losing hair.
 
They work in different ways. I think fin is poison.

Do you know how hard it is to get an oral minoxidil prescription? Most doctors/derms gatekeep that shit like their lives depend on it.

Min won't work after a certain time and won't work at all in most people. It doesn't stop balding

Well it's a research chemical, but it'd widely used among balding people. MPMD has a good video on it.

Works in entirely different ways. Minoxidil increases hair production all over the body. Does nothing for dht which actually causes balding. Fin stops dht by 80%

oral minoxidil dosent stop balding, it just increases hair growth speed, you need to nuke dht in order to stop progression of balding

oral minoxidil is the last last last last sacred final resort to high blood pressure.This stuff is used when doctors are very serious about hypertension when its near certain death for a patient.
finasteride is safe is almost everyone who takes it with no side effects and it has a myriad of benefits other than hairloss..

There is no fearmongering for minoxidil orally..it is a dangerous drug only kept for hypertension patients..I would rather give a 16yr old finasteride 1 mg every 3 days but not oral minoxidil.its literally going to destroy your heart.it literally causes pericardial effusion at low dosages too.
PS im using fin 1 mg since 15.5 for 2.5 years and zero sides

finasteride wont reduce it so much that its going to affect your bone and facial growth. actually i have grown like 5 inches on finasteride and ive had very good facial growth ..if your scared ab it well nothing i can do its your decision

Minox is putting water into a bucket.

Finasteride is fixing the hole in the bucket.

If you don't fix the hole in the bucket, no point putting more water in. In the same sense, growing hair with monoxidil is pointless if you are losing hair simultaneously.

You regrew one strand with min but lost two with no fin.

You need finasteride to halt what's causing your hair loss: DHT. Finasteride blocks the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT.

Finasteride and minoxidil are not comparable.

Minoxidil is a growth agonist(makes new hair grow). Finasteride is a treatment for androgenic alopecia (aka male pattern hairloss) that addresses the root of hair-loss.

Minoxodil increases hair density.

Finasteride adresses the root cause of hairloss by inhibiting 5 Alpha Reductase (specifically Type 2 5 alpha reductase), a process which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone.

Using minoxidil by itself will restore some hair density, but you are leaving the root of the problem unchecked if you have androgenic alopecia and are only using minoxidil. This is why eventually minoxodil monotherapy stops being enough to combat hairloss longterm.

To analogize, using minoxidil is like trying to stop a ship with a hole in it from sinking by using buckets to throw the water back overboard. Using finasteride is like trying to stop a ship from sinking by plugging the hole.

Furthermore oral minoxidil has more serious side effects than finasteride. Minoxidil is good but should be used topically in liquid or foam form.

I once used liquid minoxidil after microneedling which caused it to go systemic (which is what happens when you administer a drug orally). I ended up having terrible heart pains. Thought I was having a heart attack.
