Will a mouth guard prevent bruxism from shortening my face?

have u spoken to an orthodontist? what are your options?
No i have to take an appointment but i dont really think they can do anything to help me get my old face back . My teeth doesn't hurt but the bone loss killed my facial harmony and i have tmj problems now. My jaw also doesn't really hurt but the tmj problem are very uncomfortable and i also have tinnitus.

no because you're still applying upwards force to the maxilla, it just prevents teeth from wearing out
so basically you get ccw rotation? so it's not bad at all? like i don't understand why upwards force should be bad
