Will a pallet expander change my appearance?

I’ve been thinking about getting a pallet expander from my ortho for a while. I do actually need one to improve functionality (i’m not just larping). I’m a huge snorer and mouth breather when I sleep. My nose seems like it’s always locked, like I can’t get enough air through.
