im 14 with a deep bite, I have braces to align my teeth and getting rubber bands to fix the bite, Is this gonna make me look better of worse?

do it, just make sure you research how bone growth or proportions are going to be different depending on the orthodontist methods, like extractions and extrusions can recess you.

i had to get a bunch of extractions or else i would’ve lost the teeth next to those.

braces were nice because my smiles fixed, but they left me with these lesions that i have to fix in a certain area.

Rubber bands might recess your upper jaw is the overbite is over like 2-3mm, in general, elastics are a tradeoff, trade upper jaw for lower. I recommend you go with a herbst appliance, it barely pushes the upper jaw if even gets to do it. Also Damon braces are superior to jester traditional braces.
