I'm 15 and I'll be getting braces soon. I have a slight asymmetry in my chewing muscles. Will braces help correct it? I should also add that I have a deep bite.

they wont magically fix muscle imbalance

bite correction + time

By braces, I meant bite correction as well. So if I correct my bite and my teeth line up correctly, will the asymmetry go away?

they will help your lower third grow downwards and prevent your maxilla from growing forward :D hope this helps

if your teeth are really messed up, yeah, some of it can but most of assymetry is usually not just bones but muscle, etc

But I wrote that I have asymmetry of the chewing muscles.

Usually asymmetries come from your palate being lopsided and braces will not fix that.

You need an MSE either/plus a double jaw surgery to fix that.
