Will class ii elastics mess me up

I just got class io elastics for my Invisalign. I have a midline shift, and possibly and overbite but I don’t think I do or it’s not that bad. Will elastics recess me

yes it will but barely noticeable + its temporary and class 2 elastics move teeth not jaw
