Will elastic bands help my overbite?

I'm currently 15.5 with a bone age of 14-14.3 and I just started doing braces, after a year or so I'll do elastics, will they correct my overbite?

Yea I just hope the braces don't take long so the elastic bands don't come 2 late, I guess being a late bloomer did helped for once

i started braces at 14 and got them off at 16 wear your bands as much as you can. I had a deep bite and now I just have a slight overbite. I regret not wearing them more often. Just do it, trust me. Mark as solution

Yes,

They did this exact thing with me, for both an overbite and an underbite.

The bands will use your upper K-9 teeth to pull the bottom molars forward, causing the lower teeth to be pushed forward more, while the upper teeth will be set back more. The elastics pull your teeth which directly affect your bite (they are the bite).

i started braces at 14 and got them off at 16 wear your bands as much as you can. I had a deep bite and now I just have a slight overbite. I regret not wearing them more often. Just do it, trust me. Mark as solution

do you know what the fuck an overbite is it’s a bite correlation dumbass, just because someone doesn’t “look” recessed visually does not point to them not having an overbite, you can be overly projected with a severe overbite and under projected with an underbite

I've been on 20 different websites and over dozens of videos trying to find examples of side profiles after elastic bands, finally I find one, this is probably how I'll look to since I have a good chin similar to yours, may I ask when did you start with braces, when did you start your elastic bands? (Age range)
