Will getting 4 premolars pulled destroy my jaw?

about to begin invisalign, ortho told me i need 4 premolars pulled (2 top, 2 bottom) because i have malocclusion. i asked him and he said it won’t really effect my jaw, might actually make it look better because the malocclusion causes my lower lip to kind of point downward which makes my overall side profile look worse. but is this gonna straight up destroy my mandible or maxilla or will this improve

I will get teeth extraction too for bimax, but If you’re not getting surgery then idk if it’s a good idea. Also check if you have skeletal problem, cause if you do then braces/Invisalign won’t be enough to fix malocclusion

i dont know but i do know that i was born with no wisdom teeth and it fucked my jawline and im forever ugly until i get cash for surgeries so usually if you have some teeth it is because they are important. also orthodontists will say anything that gets them cash lmao think abt it if he just said you were fine hed make less cahs than if he convinces you to get rid of some teeth and makes u pay for it. check with multiple dentsist before just to make sure hes not a scammer

Avoid extractions at all costs, unless your bite is totally fucked and you don’t have a choice.

There is a chance it will flatten your face, especially with the upper molar extractions. It’s not a certain thing but it does happen to a lot of people.
