I'm 17 and 190 cm tall
Would hgh be worth it to grow taller?
My growth plates are still open

Given that you are already
190 cm (approx. 6'3") at age 17, taking Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is highly unlikely to be considered "worth it" and would almost certainly not be prescribed by a medical professional. At your current height, you are already well above the average 175–176 cm for your age and likely exceed your genetic target height, meaning you do not meet the FDA clinical criteria for "short stature"required for treatment. While HGH can technically stimulate bone lengthening while growth plates are open, its use in someone who is not deficient carries significant risks, including joint and muscle pain, increased insulin resistance or Type 2 diabetes, and the potential for acromegaly—a condition where bones and tissues thicken unnaturally, leading to enlarged facial features, hands, and feet. Because you are already in the top percentile of height, the marginal gain you might see is not worth the potential for permanent metabolic and structural damage.
