Maybe, but not i dont think they would be get respect because of the country development, but because then people will eat better and better health care and other things that come with money, and by all that people of India will be better looking and get better education, so then they would be respected more.

if india turns more developed the people itself will look less dirty and more clean and sophisticated with the ability to shave and get better haircuts so yes in terms of the daily life with normal people indians would be more respected

there will still be some things india could get judged for which is their hindu religion people would still assume every indian is a hindu aka a cow worshipper, so if we add up that religion vanishes from india they'll be viewed as a powerful rich country good for visiting

we're assuming that india developing and becoming a world power means less crime rates, less indians migrating outside india because they're comfortable in their country, less criminal activities that happens on the street
