Will my retainer fuck my face up

I got braces for 3 years and had an overbite retainer before that, hasn’t really affected my forward growth too much, no major rescission, but my orthodontics gave me this retainer to wear after i finished my braces to keep my teeth straight, i feel like its narrowing my pallet should i js ditch it.

lmk if u find this out ima search it tomorrow cuz i'm bouta sleep but i mean it shouldnt affect u in any way just keep u the same in theory, though it will stop growrh if ur young. what i do is i just ditch it for a few days and then wear it for one night, it just shifts my teeth back and i hope is allowing my pallet and stuff to grow

Im 16 but a very late bloomer, good myofunctional habits over the last year meant i have no major cranialfscial ressecions, i get a lot of compliments on my teeth so it could bump me up more than if i got no braces with a slightly wider pallete, my pallete isnt super narrow anyway
