will palate expander cause a tooth gap

im wondering if ill get a tooth gap since i had braces at one point and at some points during the process my front tooth would have a noticeable annoying gap im also 18 almost 19 and wondering if its retarded to get one at this age
 
yes where the fuck do you think the space is created?

thats true thats my fault but also it says the gap will go away on its own after and idk if thats rlly true
the gap will be filled by the teeth after braces. the point of a palate expander is to create room for the teeth to alleviate crowding and to fill in the buccal corridors.

yes but u should het braces aswell if ur getting expander

MSE/RPE yes, always, but if you do specifically back-palate expansion it might not actually
