Will topical minox affect head hair??

I told my oldest brother about minoxidil and he really wants a beard: (we have shit facial hair genetics)

He was asking about side affects, and I wanted to know will it affect his head hair at all considering its topical? (Shedding, etc)

We don’t really have balding in the family, my oldest brother is 32 and no signs of balding, but I wanted to know.

I’ve seen no affects like shedding myself; but I’m basically a non-responder.

Minoxidil is used for hair loss. I don't know if it will cause more beard growth, but it definitely does no harm to hair. Don't worry
