Might also be our difference of location, I personally care less and less as i grow older as i simply get used to it (if that makes sense). and most of the time just go along with the banter. It's also that we don't really have Persians, pakis and gulf Arabs were I live. So they might just stereotype us as we are the closest equivalent (Turks and Moroccans). Altho we do face issues when finding jobs and i personally experienced a white girls father not allowing me to date her after he heard my full name when i met him and he saw me he didnt find it bad but when he realised i was ethnically moroccan, he turned it around. most turks from the west and north part (who have balkan, greek, or georgian/causcus) DNA generally wont experience much racism/ shit in foreign countries, even if they are muslim.

but turks from south and east with more central asian and arab/kurdish blood might be treated worse idk
