Hi looksmaxxers,
This is just to highlight how we are manipulated from a young age through racial biases and perceptions via the media. the new adaptation of charlie and the chocolate factory casted a short unnatractive indIan man to play the role as the oompa loompas which are joke characters in the film from a foreign land . They are the worker drones of the factory. No indian plays a key/glorified role in this movie.
Hollywood would never caste a hot blonde white girl for such a degrading role
What I fucking hate is how the media influences the perceptions of society, they really set the goal posts of who is ideal and who is not. . The same kids who watched this will now perceive indians with this stigma. Even though indians are the wealthiest and most education in both the USA and UK. The brainwashing starts from birth.
"When Mr. Wonka went to Loompaland and saw the terrible conditions in which the Oompa Loompas were living, he invited them to come and work at his factory to get away from the terrible country they inhabited and the creatures that preyed on them: namely, the Whangdoodles, the Hornswogglers and the Snozzwangers."
