Wrong. God gave us 32 teeth for a reason. They are not meant to be amputated. Wisdom teeth impaction and improper growth is merely a symptom of a greater problem: deficiently sized maxilla. The best approach is to split the suture with MSE, then make room for those wisdom teeth to come in. Then, after the sutures have fused back up again, then go for bimax surgery or whatever it is you're doing.
