doctor says I’m going to have to have my wisdom teeth removed, instead what should I do to avoid recession, Damon braces? Pallet expander, headgear? Just make space or what? I’m a late bloomer so haven’t even begun much development

Having to remove wisdom teeth is because your recessed, not the other way around which is basically everyone in the modern day. it's not like all the bone below it just disappears, and the bone where it's directly at isn't really visible, just Oscar Patel bs he made up like 5 years ago.

If it's out enough you might not need to do it, else you kinda need to do it, you could maybe choice when your older but the roots may go deeper into your jaw which makes surgery worse. in Uk they are very conservative only do it when needed, while USA they do it whenever cause money, just see if you would fit the requirements for Uk extraction. If your wisdom are completely below its lot more likely you need to.

You should at least know what the reason is (impacted wisdom, damaging other teeth, just harder to brush (don't do it in only this case)).

retaradcells and their recesiion fear. everyone who says braces made them recessed got premolar extrations and was likely alaready extrmly recessed. wisdom teeth extractions do nothing for you. and stop coping with late bloomer bullshit, damon braces are also the exact same as regular braces just a marketting ploy.

if they've grown awkwardly, remove them. 3rd molars have 0 aesthetic or functional significance
