Wisdom teeth removal

Anyone think that they cause facial changes? Would make sense to me but are there any studies supporting that? Getting conflicting opinions. Im 19 yrs old.

Orthodontist told me to take it out first (just one) before i get a cone beam ct scan. I dont have any pain rn with the tooth just want to get the scan to plan for jaw surgery.

yeah but how do you know? Ive seen no before and afters where the face is worse, any ct scan before and after i saw just had the hole filled with bone.

If you are around 21 or older pulling them shouldn't affect face.
