- She went out with a group that included a guy she previously described as someone she wasn't friends with.
- She referred to him as basically a random guy, which made the situation seem insignificant.
- Despite saying she wasn't friends with him, she was still comfortable going out with him/the group.
Since Then
- She has started going out much more frequently.
- She never used to party/go out like this, but now it seems to be happening almost weekly.
- Her social circle seems to be changing, and you're worried that the people around her are influencing how often she goes out and who she spends time with.
This Week — Going Out Again
- She went out for the second time in two weeks.
- Her friend is dating a guy who apparently wasn't invited.
- You know that Thomas is going, despite the other guy not being invited.
- You believe Thomas likes her, although you don't currently have proof of that.
When You Asked Who Was Going
- You asked whether it was basically the same people as before.
- She responded that it was, saying it was basically a bunch of couples in the group.
- She told you that she would have invited you if you didn't have kickboxing.
After Kickboxing
- You finished kickboxing 30 minutes earlier than the conversation and told her you were finished.
- You were effectively giving her the opportunity to say, "Come then."
- Instead, she ignored the message.
- You weren't invited.
At the Same Time
- She hadn't messaged you while she was out.
- You were walking to the shops by yourself.
- She then acted as though she cared about you being alone, which felt contradictory to you because she had just ignored you when you told her you were finished and could potentially have joined them.
Next Week
- She is hosting her own gathering/party.
- She listed the people who are going.
- You are not on the list.
- Thomas is on the list.
- This is particularly bothering you because you already suspect Thomas likes her.
What Is Actually Bothering You
It's not simply that she's going out. It's the combination of:
- She suddenly started going out regularly when she previously didn't.
- She went out with this "random" guy despite saying she wasn't friends with him.
- She's now going out again only two weeks later.
- She said you'd be invited if you didn't have kickboxing.
- You finished kickboxing and told her, but she ignored you.
- She wasn't messaging you while out.
- She's hosting next week and Thomas is invited but you aren't.
- You already believe Thomas is interested in her.
- You feel like her new social circle is influencing her behaviour and potentially your relationship with her.
