Okay so I have heard the resistance training stunts growth argument, that it changes nothing , and that it promotes more optimized growth. But I was wondering how it really worked like how people who are lazy from when they are children are underdeveloped and short but the ones who played sports are tall and strong. Right? so that also made me wonder because that is not lifting, but dynamic forces I guess, and it places gentle load over longer periods, not high load for short periods. Okay so I just wanted to know I'm iqlet so it's hard to learn, if anyone has opinions or information that would be cool

So I don’t think how the tall and strong ones play sport and the lazy underdeveloped don’t it really just comes down the the fact it’s some much easier for taller and stronger kids to naturally be good at sport so they get picked for teams and try new sports etc while the underdeveloped kid might have tried at one point but was never naturally good and has to put so much more work

why no deadlift or row? I get deadlift because I hate it , but rows. is it because spine is loaded so not good?
idk, if I wanted to prioritize growth I would do bodyweight exercises like calisthenics instead, wouldnt disrupt your growth

I see your point but there is effect, I'm pretty sure there are studies on twins that show what I'm saying? interesting still

Ye it is interesting because I am 6 2 and my older brother is 5 8 and I did play more sports than my brother growing up and did end up playing at a slightly higher level than he did at my age (16) him (18) now but he still played a lot of sports and even when we played the same amount at younger ages when it would make the most effect I was just as tall as him
