Does working out like weightlifting lower testosterone since you are using all of it to repair muscles?

If training is taken over a certain threshold (roughly 60 minutes) then cortisol begins to spike much more leading to reduced testosterone. Moderate length training sessions increase testosterone.

Does intensity play a role? I usually keep 1-2rir and train every other day

It assumes high intensity resistance training for the 60 minute rule.

Very insightful, can you also link the study?
I take like 3-5 min rest between sets which causes my workouts to last longer

does it even matter? you have testosterone so you can use it retard

you need to keep it short but hit your body HARD. too much time at gym = too much cortisol = shitty hormonal profile.

be high T, do one set till absolute failure and go home.

If you workout 3x a week, do NOT go to failure AT ALL. You should always be at 0-1 rir (reps in reserve) for isolation lifts and 1-2 rir for compound lifts. Also, going over 10 reps in a set is just creating unnecessary fatigue so stay in the 4-9 rep range ideally

Retard u should go to failure every single day on every exercise.
Even if u workout 6x a week

Well the compound lifts are more suited for speed and power but difficult to do time under tension with heavy weight

U can't "use up test" and protein repair ur muscles not test test just send the signal to bring more protein to the damaged muscle

that doesnt make sense, your body is releasing a lot of test after workout for a reason: to repair the muscles.
