Would braces help after 18 with a possible overbite?

recently an user pointed out that i MIGHT have an overbite. But when i look at my teeth, only the upper incisors seem to be a little overshaowing my lower teeth excessively. The rest of the teeth seem to be alligned well. what could the reason be for such an allignment. Do braces even work after 18? or should i get mse first since lately i've been noticing the gum area in the upper right corner after my last molar, slightly hurts. (I have no cavity and my teeth are healthy) Could this be an indicator of signs of wisdom teeth? Should i get mse?:p:p:p:p:p

go to an ortho, he will do a scan, tell you if you have a skeletal or dental malocclusion. If its dental, just get braces with or without mse depending on how crowded your teeth are. If skeletal, then a jaw surgery if its too big.

If you have an overbite then MSE is going to do nothing for anterior growth and you instead likely need BSSO.

Most orthos are blue pilled losers who camouflage a skeletal issue.

Go to an ortho just use them for a referral to an oral surgeon if they aren’t airway/skeletal based.
