If I were to eat only 500 cals daily for about a month at 14 would it effect my growth

over... then yes go on a calorie deficit but still I wouldn't be as aggressive at eating 500 calories... Focus more on burning calories than on lowering intake (though this one too, maybe like 300 below maintenance (Google calorie calculator for this one) and maybe 500 below maintenance if you want to be aggressive). Otherwise you'll really just fuck yourself up during puberty...

It would literally be over for you not only for that month but probably for at least half of the next one, recovery will be tough. Unless ur 23+bf% I don't see why you would even think of that and even then I'd just take a low dose AI to avoid aromatization and gradually lose body fat, not starve myself for a month

I’m like 70kgs 5’9 and 14 so I’m tryna lose weight asap

it’s getting in my way tm I feel uncomfortable in my own skin my school bag strectjes my clothes back and makes me feel even worse lmfao
the other guy gave good advice you could maybe recomp if you dont workout, lose weight build muscle its quite forgiving when ur new

Id start with 2000-1900 and see how you feel... even then remember calories aren't real or fully accurate, just a manmade number, if you eat more of an animal based (doesn't necessarily have to be like from a heaven farm in Norway or whatever, just not super processed green candy with soda, also doesn't matter if you eat other stuff (as long as its not like straight up trash like candy every day) as long as you have a strong base and fix your metabolism) you'll notice better results too. Also a nice opportunity to get n the gym and burn some calories by building muscle...
