would getting my tongue tie cut now fix anything?

i was supposed to get it cut when i was around 8 but never did and i think this held me back bc i have pretty good genetics. i am now 15 would it be too late? i can still kind of mew but its not natural i have to consciously do it.

I doubt it's influenced skeletal development that much, but you should get it cut regardless.
