im gonna assume tension is applied directly along the long bones

according to heuter volksmann low tension like this promotes growth while compression (opposite of this, exhibited in load bearing exercises) inhibits it

It was pretty easy to fall asleep it felt like hanging from a bar but as if it gripped for you
