this is a hypothetical situation. in my scenario, you are dead and cannot do those things to me. the op never stated that there would be multiple buttons, so if i'm presented with the button, only i make the decisions. if there are other people controlling the buttons, then i need to find out who they are and kill them before they can make the wrong choice

Not wanting your loved ones to die is actually very selfish. They make you happy, so in the end its all about your personal satisfaction anyways. Just some people are more sociable like yourself, so they want to keep their friends alive in order to talk to them etc.

I don't like people as well because I've been treated like shit my whole life,
