No it isn't lol. Being 1 inch shorter than "average" doesn't magically make you short since height has a standard deviation of 2.5 inches. Meaning, anything within that standard deviation is still "average" (5'6.5 being on the lower end of average - 6'0 being on the higher end of average). 5'8 is within that. And so is 5'7. It's why alot of women are still willing to date someone who's 5'7 since it's still taller than majority of women, esp if you're ethnic (since they're shorter than white people). Lol I used to live in south florida around a shit ton of cubans, Puerto ricans, brazilians, etc and the men were shorter (like 5'5-5'7 on average) with banging latinas.
