i disagree, if i got into a fight obviously id use my fists

but if i got into a fight that was life or death i would only punch if i had to make the person back up, my first instinct would be to try to just get them down maybe in a choke hold and start biting off chunks of their body

you can very rarely get close enough to his neck and if you manage to bight anywhere else he will elbow or smack the the back of your skull and kill you.

better off punching his neck from a distance and crushing it

No you can't. Trust me, I've been there and tried that before. It just causes the other person a lot of pain. And even if you could rip their flesh it's not gonna incapacitate them.
