Just recently discovered that the false information about wrist growth plates fusing first and leg plates (important ones) closing later is incorrect!!!
If you have had a wrist X-ray and your bones are fused or closed to fused your leg bones are more than likely fused already .

At age 16, on average only 8.5percent males’ wrists were fully fused, whilst the proximal end of the tibia (shin bone) 20 percent had it fully fused and at the distal end of the tibia 58.3 percent had it fully fused, whilst the femur only around 17 percent were fully fused.

If it’s any consolation many people on Reddit say they had a wrist X-ray and were told they growth plates were closed and then they just grew taller naturally

everyone is different when it comes to growth when did you hit puberty OP?
