The patients normal fusion was just like that
You could also argue the stop of Erdafitinib (which during treatment extended hayflick limit, leading to chondrocytes proliferating beyond normal capacity) resulted in a lack of telomerase activity, chondrocyte proliferation now induced telomere shortening again so from one single point on they all started reaching their proliferation limit again
Not sure if that would have some 'fusion' velocity effects
But it doesnt matter, the paper notes that mineralisation went back to normal after the Metaphyseal sclerosis (caused by growth recovery/gain due to erda)
